<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The temporary building substitute paraeducator serves as building substitute in the absence of a classroom teacher; provides support to classroom teachers and office staff when not substituting; performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree required; CT Teaching Certification preferred. Knowledge of general concepts of child growth, development, and instruction; flexibility to adapt to varying school settings, schedules and classrooms; ability to work well with staff and students. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle detailed work. Familiarity with computerized systems.
