<p>Job Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator</p> <p>Location: RWJ New Brunswick</p> <p>Department: Dietary-Management</p> <p>Req#: 0000182073</p> <p>Status: Full-Time</p> <p>Shift: Evening</p> <p>Pay Range: $18.39 - $18.39 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated per hour range for this position if hired to work.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Coordinator assures the quality of food is served according to the correct standards for accuracy of diet, portion control, garnish and temperature,</p> <p>Assists in assuring the correct operation of assembly line and checking patient meal trays accurately,</p> <p>Correctly assembles and distributes tube feedings and specialized nourishments using sanitary techniques,</p> <p>Assists the department in all clerical functions for patient meal service through accurate menu processing and assisting patients with menu selections,</p> <p>Maintains the Room Service computer system so that patient files are updated with appropriate dietary information according to physician order,</p> <p>Demonstrates skills necessary to coordinate menu selections for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients,</p> <p>The Coordinator carries out the principles of positive guest relations by demonstrating the ability to solve customer problems and treating all customers with dignity and respect,</p> <p>Environment of Care:</p> <p>Demonstrates the awareness of safety, security, life safety, preparedness and utility and equipment management policies competencies,</p> <p>Interrelationships:</p> <p>Frequent contact with Food & Nutrition staff members, patients, visitors and nurses,</p> <p>Occasional contact with other hospital supervisors, physicians and representatives from the New Jersey Department of Health and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals,</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>High School Graduate or Equivalent</p> <p>Two years of experience in a hospital Food Service Department</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred,</p> <p>Supervisory experience</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>12 pm - 8:30 pm</p> <p>Every other weekend, holiday rotation</p> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
