This role offers opportunities to work in cutting-edge science within an industrial setting, with training opportunities and potential for extended responsibilities based on performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Extract high-quality RNA and deliver gene characterization (RACE) and associated data analysis. </li><li>Track all work through LIMS systems. </li><li>Maintain a collaborative attitude and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>MS or higher education in molecular biology or 5+ years of relevant experience. </li><li>Demonstrated ability in RNA extraction, RNA handling, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and next-gen sequencing library creation. </li><li>Experience with plasmid and primer design and associated software tools. </li><li>Familiarity with gene expression biology. </li><li>Professional and positive attitude with clear communication and attention to detail. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office programs. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with NGS analysis and R coding language. </li><li>Familiarity with liquid-handling or higher throughput extraction/data generation. </li><li>Proficiency with note-taking and sample tracking through LIMS systems. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role operates in a standard office and laboratory environment with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
