Samtan Engineering is looking for a qualified individual for the role of Sr. Quality Inspector.</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Under the direction of the Operations Manager, operate equipment to produce small batches or large quantities of precision metal parts. Ensure products meet precise specifications.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Operate equipment such as press, stamp, tumbler, sand blaster and other equipment as per the direction of the Operation Manager. </li><li>Operator will be trained to operate and safety on each piece of equipment. </li><li>Visual and Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance specifications. </li><li>Support metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing, using knowledge of machine functions, metal properties and mathematics. </li><li>Maintain all machining work areas neat, clean, and organized to provide the most efficient use of the tools at hand. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a true team environment. </li><li>Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines. </li><li>Multi-tasked, flexible & open minded with an excellent attention to detail. </li><li>3 to 5-years of experience in a quality control/manufacturing environment is preferred </li><li>Effective communication in English, verbally and written </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Word, and MS Excel </li><li>Well-developed problem solving and decision-making abilities </li><li>Attitude of collaboration and desire to develop through learning </li><li>Experience with metals is preferred </li></ul> <p>ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS</p> <p>Reports directly to the Operations Manager.
