<p>Part-time Instructor, AHA Healthcare Provider CPR JobID: 916</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Part-time Instruction</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>4/30/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Client Service Center</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current AHA Instructor status in BLS is required. </li><li>Experience teaching adults required. </li><li>Available to teach one day a week at a Tulsa Tech Campus or Client Location. </li><li>Bilingual is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. </li><li>Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. </li><li>Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of classroom discipline. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by District policy and certification/regulatory agencies. </li><li>Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e.-prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.). </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's BIS program. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the BIS department. </li><li>Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervisor and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Daytime/Evenings.</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$50 per hour</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is May 7th.
