The financial segment of OFA is comprised of the Budget, Capital Planning, and Fiscal Affairs. These three divisions, work in conjunction to provide centralized support, consultation, and oversight on a broad range of financial issues for the entire agency.</p> <p>and Payroll Journal Voucher requests for the agency.</p> <p>Your Impact:</p> <p>The Central Admin. Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the unit's daily operations.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <p>Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Manage a dedicated staff composed of three employees, fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability. </li><li>Monitor the work of the Central Admin. staff to ensure all Financial Management System (FMS) requests for Section 8 and Development Loan vendors are processed timely and efficiently. </li><li>Perform administrative duties for the Central Administration Unit. </li><li>Review and approve vendor registrations and manage over 11,000 Section 8 vendors Agency wide. </li><li>Review and approve Pre-Encumbrance documents for Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exempt (SCRIE) tax abatement program and Tenant Income Lease (TIL) Rent Differential Program. </li><li>Review and approve Journal Vouchers and Expense Adjustments, Department Redistribution Expense requests, Expense Adjustments Commodity requests, and Payroll Journal Voucher requests for the agency. </li><li>Perform all other applicable tasks assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills:</p> <ul> <li>Highly organized with ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time </li><li>Must be hands on, disciplined, and detail oriented with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment </li><li>Must have accounts payable and receivable experience </li><li>Requires strong communication skills </li><li>Must be able to multitask </li><li>Experience in use of HPDInfo (Agency Legacy System), MS Access, Passport and the City s Financial Management System (FMS) are a plus </li></ul> <p>Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that they meet all qualifying requirements for this position at the time of application.</p> <p>ADM MANAGER-NON-MGRL FRM M1/M2 - 1002C</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience requiring independent decision-making concerning program management or planning, allocation for resources and the scheduling and assignment of work, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or</p> </li><li> <p>An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and five years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible experience as described in "1" above, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or</p> </li><li> <p>A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of</p> </li></ol> <p>satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible experience as described in "1"</p> <p>above, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial,</p> <p>executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the</p> <p>supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than</p> <p>moderate difficulty; or</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2" or "3" above. However, all </li></ol> <p>candidates must possess the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described in "1", "2" or "3" above. Education above</p> <p>the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative</p> <p>experience (but not for the administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory</p> <p>experience described in "1", "2" or "3" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits</p> <p>from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½</p> <p>years.</p> <p>55a Program</p> <p>This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
