<p>Position Title: Technical Product Owner</p> <p>Location: Vienna, VA or Pensacola FL HYBRID</p> <p>Clearance Requirements: NO</p> <p>Position Status: Contract W2</p> <p>Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr on w2</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <p>We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our Agile product development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality digital products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive product vision, and translate complex requirements into actionable outcomes. This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building products that deliver measurable value.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business goals and customer needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Backlog Ownership: Manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring clear documentation of user stories and technical requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, making informed trade-offs when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between business, design, and technical teams, fostering alignment and transparency.</p> </li><li> <p>Agile Delivery: Lead sprint planning, release schedules, and ensure timely delivery of product increments.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria, participate in testing, and validate deliverables against requirements and standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement: Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for product enhancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, ensuring smooth product delivery.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Education:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role in Agile software development.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development or architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and modern software architectures.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking.</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM).</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Our Team?</p> <p>As a Technical Product Owner, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital products.
