<p>KEY FUNCTIONS OF JOB</p> <ul> <li>Recording and monitoring temperatures of furnaces </li><li>Weighing chemicals for additions and new melts </li><li>Mounting and etching substrates </li><li>Loading and dipping wafers into furnaces </li><li>Programming and terminating growth cycles </li><li>Measuring weight/thickness/warp of wafers accurately </li><li>Performing some data analysis </li><li>Prepping furnaces for new melts </li><li>Entering data using Access </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Do you fall into one of these categories?</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum: HS diploma or equivalent </li><li>Preferred: Associate degree in a technical/engineering/scientific field </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years' experience working in a technical, scientific, or mechanical field. </li><li>Experience working in a laboratory environment and following good lab practices. </li><li>Experience working with precision measurement methods and systems. </li><li>Experience with PC based computers for programming LPE systems. </li><li>Intermediate or higher level with Excel, Word, and Access. </li><li>Experience with Oracle is a plus. </li><li>Experience working with fixtures, hand tools, and equipment controllers is a plus. </li><li>Comfortable working with chemicals, acids, and a high temperature environment. </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to read and follow directions while offering suggestions for continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Safety Requirements</p> <p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
