<p>Business Operations and Compliance Representative (P56 - Direct)</p> <p>Manage business operations and compliance activities with a strong focus on Oracle and Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications:</p> <p>Oracle Support & SCM Expertise:</p> <ul> <li>Provide expert-level support for Oracle applications as they pertain to SCM activities, including planning, purchasing, requisitions, and related functions. </li><li>Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle SCM modules, ensuring best practices are followed and issues are resolved efficiently. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Oracle SCM processes and workflows. </li></ul> <p>Compliance Management:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee compliance activities related to the GDLS supply base, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. </li><li>Assist in managing and tracking Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) shared with suppliers, ensuring secure and compliant handling. </li></ul> <p>SCM IT Functional Support:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for SCM IT activities, bridging the gap between technical teams and business operations. </li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot supplier access to GDLS applications. </li><li>Support the development, modifications, and upgrades of enterprise and supply chain applications related to supplier management. </li></ul> <p>Supplier Management & Onboarding:</p> <ul> <li>Provide oversight and operational/strategic execution for supplier onboarding processes. </li><li>Maintain and update SCM internal portals and external websites with critical supply chain information. </li></ul> <p>SCM/IT Projects:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the execution of IT projects, interfacing between IT and SCM </li><li>Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in business processes and systems. </li><li>Manage projects from initiation to completion, including schedule management and issue resolution. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Experience: </li><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in business operations, supply chain management, or related fields. </li><li>Education: </li><li>Bachelor's degree required (preferred fields: Information Technology, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or related disciplines). </li><li>Technical Skills: </li><li>Strong technical expertise in Oracle applications, with a focus on SCM modules and data management. </li><li>Proficiency in ERP/Oracle SCM tools and reporting/query development platforms such as COGNOS and OBIEE. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Oracle-related technical and functional issues efficiently. </li><li>Communication & Leadership: </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. </li><li>Proven ability to lead discussions and present to audiences of varying sizes, including cross-functional teams and stakeholders. </li><li>Work Style: </li><li>Self-directed, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently. </li><li>Customer Service: </li><li>Prior experience in customer service or supplier-facing roles is preferred. </li><li>Additional Attributes: </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and follow-up. </li></ul> <p>Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, General Dynamics is a global aerospace and defense company offering a broad portfolio of products and services in business aviation; ship construction and repair; land combat vehicles, weapons systems and munitions; and technology products and services.
