<p>This Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Cleaning, maintaining and stocking the anesthesia workroom and equipment in all operating rooms and satellite anesthetizing locations</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting the anesthesia provider in the safe and efficient care of patients receiving anesthesia</p> </li><li> <p>Providing specialized equipment to assist anesthesia staff when appropriate</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing anesthesia machines and carts for use the following day</p> </li><li> <p>Assembling and preparing intravenous (IV) solutions for anesthesia provider</p> </li><li> <p>Working with perioperative team to ensure prompt OR turnover</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with difficult airway management by providing equipment needs such as video laryngoscope and fiberoptic intubation cart</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing age appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway support</p> </li></ul> <p>To qualify, you must have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.</p> </li><li> <p>1-2 years of work experience in an acute care setting</p> </li><li> <p>The analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.</p> </li><li> <p>The ability to exchange information on factual matters, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
