<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITE</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Attendant/Cashier is responsible for all point of sale and supporting transactions with internal and external Food and Beverage customers.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Takes guests orders in a timely fashion </li><li>Responsible for serving, bussing and streamlining service at table and counter seating </li><li>Actively up sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains all legal beverage service guidelines </li><li>Prepares and breaks down service stations in accordance with dining room standards </li><li>Assists guests with any general casino information, when needed </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, glassware, garnishes and beverage service techniques </li><li>Knowledge and skill in all check reconciliation procedures including, cash, comps, credit cards, coupons, players club points, vouchers and gift cards </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Previous food server or cashiering experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and bending </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
