<p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the Workplace Technologies PMO, where you'll work at the intersection of IT strategy, finance, and business leadership. In this highly collaborative role, you'll build strong partnerships with Sub-Division Heads, Department Heads, Delivery Managers, Senior Product Owners, and Finance partners to ensure the organization has the right talent, funding, and workplace environment to deliver on its business goals. You'll play a key role in supporting IT's annual and continuous planning and budgeting processes, working closely with Financial Planning & Analysis on budgeting, workforce planning, third-party supplier management, and financial reporting-gaining valuable exposure and experience to accelerate your career in IT. As a Portfolio Strategist, you'll partner closely with leaders, Finance, and product owners to shape product outcomes, identify synergies across the portfolio, and help execute an annual business technology plan aligned to a product-centric operating model. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. You'll be trusted to influence leaders, surface insights, and drive corrective actions as needed-making this a high-impact role with meaningful visibility and growth opportunities.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Interpersonal skills: You need excellent relationship-building skills to gain trust, in order to persuade and influence senior leaders daily.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial acumen: You should have a solid understanding of the annual planning process and the impacts of staffing decisions on an IT portfolio.</p> </li><li> <p>Problem solving capabilities: Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Conceptual thinking skills: Strong intellectual capacity and conceptual thinking capability.</p> </li><li> <p>Reporting skills: Strong forecasting and management report skills, including KPI and OKR analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial forecasting experience: Participates in all forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles including the long-term strategic plan. Provides financial support for changing business objectives and goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpersonal skills: Establishes and maintains close working relationships with management and appropriate crew to continually enhance their understanding of financial and labor market trends.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous improvement mindset: Works to identify opportunities to improve the delivery of financial and staffing services to internal clients and implements procedural changes, as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5 years related work experience. 2 years of managing a project preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Services and function-specific experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with workforce management, 3rd party vendors, planning, budgeting, reconciliation, etc...</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with managing a large budget</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Excel is mandatory</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferences:</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
