<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Location(s) Shelton, Connecticut Status Regular Job ID REQ-054989</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Meet and exceed sales targets and other KPIs including renewal rates, new unit additions, and warranty conversions </li><li>Manage a geographic territory and work with the local CSEs team to expand the contract base by adding new contracts </li><li>Quote customers directly through CRM system </li><li>Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory </li><li>Contact customers to follow up on leads generated through CSEs and other teams </li><li>Identify and generate lead opportunities for other PerkinElmer businesses </li><li>Respond to customer inquiries, act as their point of contact, and ensure timely resolution </li><li>Develop product knowledge to effectively grow portfolio within territory </li><li>Follow company best practices and processes and learn effective selling techniques </li><li>Maintain sales pipeline and activity accurately in CRM tools </li><li>Upsell / Cross-sell other PerkinElmer services and consumables offerings </li><li>Embrace change and continuous improvement mindset </li><li>Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment </li><li>Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of inside sales or field service experience </li><li>Effective time management and organization </li><li>Strong communication skills (telephone & email) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar scientific field </li><li>Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry </li><li>Relevant experience in laboratory or field service operations </li></ul> <p>The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $64,500.00 to $80,860.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.</p>
