<p>Job Purpose:</p> <ul> <li>The Extrusion Training Coordinator at ORAFOL AMERICAS INC is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs specifically tailored for the extrusion department. The role is crucial in ensuring that all extrusion personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and safely, ultimately contributing to the overall productivity and quality standards of the company. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees in the extrusion department. </li><li>Conduct training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to ensure effective knowledge transfer. </li><li>Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to identify training needs and objectives. </li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date training materials, manuals, and documentation to reflect current industry standards and practices. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during training activities. </li><li>Provide ongoing support and mentorship to employees to foster continuous learning and development. </li><li>Coordinate with external training providers and industry experts to enhance training offerings. </li><li>Monitor and report on training progress and outcomes to senior management. </li><li>Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in extrusion processes to incorporate into training programs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within extrusion processes. </li><li>Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly within a technical or manufacturing setting. </li><li>Experience in coordinating training schedules and managing training resources efficiently. </li><li>Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in a manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of extrusion processes and machinery. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. </li><li>Proficiency in using training software and tools to develop and deliver training content. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt training programs to meet the needs of different departments. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training methods to suit various learning styles. </li><li>Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in training and manufacturing. </li></ul>
