And we're rising to meet the challenges ahead.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Gallagher Re is focused on growth opportunities in key product lines globally and regionally, particularly in the development of Facultative business ("Fac"). This is a strategic, sales, and leadership role reporting to the CEO of Fac, Gallagher Re and will be a member of the Gallagher Re Production Executive. The role will also participate in relevant Gallagher Re regional committees and wider Gallagher divisional committees to build connections within the business and support facultative business development efforts.</p> <p>The role is responsible for adapting, developing, leading, and managing the Gallagher Re Fac strategy, working with Gallagher Re regions. The role will also work with the wider relevant Gallagher divisions on Fac strategy based on the scope set out below and the execution thereof. The role will have agreed specific targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on the agreed strategy and will be responsible for working with regions on the delivery of the agreed growth targets and KPIs for Fac in the United States. The role focuses on growing new and existing Fac business, developing compelling value propositions for clients across the United States and client types, resulting in increased sales, market share, and revenue growth.</p> <p>Externally, the incumbent should be seen as a market expert and thought leader in Fac within the United States, leading C-suite engagement as required and appropriate.</p> <p>Key Relationships</p> <ul> <li>Reports to the CEO of FAC, Gallagher Re </li><li>Regional leader Facultative, North America, Gallagher Re </li><li>Global and Domestic Cedents based in USA </li><li>Treaty Reinsurance Leaders, Gallagher Re </li></ul> <p>How you'll make an impact</p> <p>Key Objectives:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Establish Operating Model: Define the operating and financial model for Fac across all segments in the United States, ensuring alignment with Gallagher Re and the broader Risk business (insurance intermediation).</p> </li><li> <p>Value Proposition: Develop clear and compelling value propositions for clients across Fac business segments in the United States.</p> </li><li> <p>Annual Investment Plans: Create annual investment and talent plans to build and enhance Fac production in the United States, ensuring efficient market reach (placement infrastructure) and optimal outcomes for clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish connectivity between insurance company Fac clients and Treaty to serve individual risk Fac and Fac Facilities across all business lines and products.</p> </li><li> <p>Focus on third-party MGA clients, including Fac and E&S delegated authorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop Gallagher Facilities: Create Gallagher Proprietary D&F and E&S facilities as appropriate to enhance the regional value proposition, improve placement capabilities, and optimize revenue from existing premium flows.</p> </li><li> <p>Market & Communications Plan: Work closely with Marketing & Communications to develop a plan to position Gallagher as a regional leader in Fac (carrier management agenda from an outwards and inwards Fac perspective).</p> </li><li> <p>Facultative P&L Management: Oversee the Facultative P&L for the United States for Gallagher Re, ensuring integration with the Gallagher Re P&L across the region. Work closely with wider Gallagher leadership on developing and monitoring credible sales plans,</p> </li><li> <p>financial targets, and performance for retail clients while ensuring accountability for revenue and profitability rests with Gallagher retail leadership.</p> </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Strategic Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Gallagher divisional and regional CEOs to develop and manage regional Fac product strategies. </li><li>Implement operational and revenue-generating strategies, ensuring consistent growth for existing and new clients with clear KPIs. </li><li>Oversee the creation of 5-year and annual sales plans at the regional product level, ensuring alignment with the regional strategy and effective execution. </li></ul> <p>Team Development & Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Attract and hire key strategic talent to enhance Gallagher Re's Fac offering and build a skilled team across the United States. </li><li>Support Gallagher Retail hiring strategy and execution. </li><li>Lead, coach, and support the Fac Leadership Team to ensure operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with client and Gallagher requirements. </li><li>Foster a culture that aligns with Gallagher's values, emphasizing inclusivity, ethical behavior, and staff engagement. </li></ul> <p>Client & Market Engagement:</p> <ul> <li>Act as a market expert and thought leader in Fac within the United States, representing Gallagher Re and wider Gallagher (as required) at key industry events. </li><li>Work closely with Client Advocates to integrate Fac expertise into client teams and drive growth opportunities with regional clients. </li><li>Develop client relationship strategies to enhance Gallagher's reputation and deepen engagement with Fac clients in the United States. </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and optimize the Fac product line to ensure it operates within budget and meets financial commitments. </li><li>Ensure strong connectivity between treaty and Fac data, utilizing or developing infrastructure and technology to improve client management. </li></ul> <p>Analytics & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop leading-edge Fac analytics, providing insights for both new and existing clients. </li><li>Define KPIs for Fac in alignment with Gallagher Re's broader objectives, ensuring performance is tracked and reported regularly to stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Gallagher Behaviors</p> <p>Leading Self</p> <ul> <li>Being mindful of how one leads oneself and how one reacts to situations </li><li>Integrity and Trust: doing the right thing and taking personal responsibility for actions and decisions </li></ul> <p>Leading Others and Relationships</p> <ul> <li>Builds Relationships and Networks, with emphasis on fostering diverse networks and accepting differences </li><li>Collaborative Style: focuses on sharing, supporting and being inclusive to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes </li><li>Communication and Influence: communicates with clarity; influences and negotiates effectively </li><li>Inspires Others: engages, motivates and stimulates action in others </li><li>Develops Talent: recruits and develops talent. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
