<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Specialist in Maryland Heights, MO.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>AP Specialist will process accounts payable and incoming invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures </li><li>Route invoices for approval and code invoices </li><li>Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments </li><li>File all invoices/manage the accounts payable filing cabinets </li><li>Manage expense reporting process </li><li>Research and resolve any accounts payable issues and vendor discrepancies </li><li>Perform re-billing of vendor supply invoices to customers </li><li>Assist with other daily clerical tasks </li><li>GL account reconciliations/balance accrual accounts </li><li>As an AP Specialist, you will manage customers' vendor compliance portals, and provide certificates of insurance (COI) to customers, as necessary </li><li>Collaborate with the Franchise Accountant regarding necessary items </li><li>Back up receptionist duties which include some phone work, arranging shipments and mail, as required </li><li>Aid in process improvement within Finance department </li><li>Perform other functions and special projects, as assigned* High School diploma/GED or equivalent </li><li>Minimum three years of accounts payable or other relevant accounting experience </li><li>Understand basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as other accounting software programs </li><li>High energy level, self-starter with a positive, customer-centric attitude </li><li>Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Position may require small amount of overtime, as needed </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Accounting/Business </li><li>Oracle NetSuite experience </li><li>Multi-region Accounts Payable processing experience </li><li>Data entry experience </li><li>Experience with accounting and bookkeeping </li></ul>
