If you're passionate about technology and eager to make a difference, this is the place for you!</p> <p>We are hiring a Plant Controlling Manager responsible for Siemens Mobility Rail Infrastructure Business's 3 manufacturing operations sites in Kentucky (Louisville and Marion) and Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh). You will partner with the Operations Head for all locations and report to the Head of Rail Infrastructure BA Operations for RI North America.</p> <p>The Plant Controlling Manager is a key leader of the Operations leadership team. Having 3 direct reports, you will contribute to all areas of plant management and provide strong financial leadership and collaboration with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating plant budgets, business plant activities, and rolling forecasts in alignment with our corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plants and provide recommendations to improve and optimize site financials.</p> <p>What your day-to-day will look like:</p> <ul> <li>Revenue & expenses budgeting and forecasting, capital budgeting, personnel & financial planning. </li><li>Integrates and trains new staff while leading the continued professional development of the existing team. </li><li>Lead all accounting operations including Billing, A/P, GL, Inventory / Cost accounting, and revenue recognition as well as monthly, quarterly, semi, and yearly closing activities. </li><li>Working capital & Fixed Asset Management </li><li>Prepare feasibility reports for capital investments & make/buy decisions. </li><li>Investment Management/Product Costing in line with budget & forecasts </li><li>Implementing and monitoring management programs </li><li>Identifying the organization's risks & opportunities, estimating their financial impacts, preparing action plans, and reporting to executive management </li><li>Inventory management and monthly asset reconciliation. </li><li>Develop, implement, review, and ensure adherence to internal controls and corresponding policies. </li><li>Coordinating with Internal and External auditors </li></ul> <p>To thrive in this role, you have:</p> <ul> <li>5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and management position level. Manufacturing controlling experience. </li><li>Experience with people management. </li><li>Experience in Project management and milestone management. </li><li>S&OP Experience, handover management, and project manufacturing experience will be a plus. </li><li>Strong sense of ownership, able to work independently and take initiative </li><li>Ability to act as an entrepreneur, thinking creatively and staying up to date with external trends, driving transformation to ensure sustainability </li><li>Flair for mastering complexity and building trust with others, intercultural competencies, and an open approach to working on a global scale </li><li>International working experience will be preferred. </li><li>Ability to travel approximately 25% between manufacturing sites </li></ul> <p>This job is based in Pittsburgh, PA, Louisville, KY, or Marion, KY. The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, Louisville, KY, or Marion, KY, is $172,800 - $203,300, and the annual incentive is 20% of the base salary.
