If you are interested in joining our team, apply today!</p> <p>About this Role:</p> <p>The IT Sup II serves as an advocate of the Enterprise Data Management Strategy (EDMS) and supports staff with projects and efforts related to the exchange and integration of data. Tasks involve collaboration with DHCS stakeholders, internal and external, in order to support the Department's efforts in the proper exchange and handling of data. The incumbent will be responsible for directing and supervising staff in duties related to the EDMS, such as: data mapping, documentation of data flow diagrams, data structure design in order to support the Department in aligning with Federal, State, and Local law and legislation. Provide guidance on standards such as Health Level Seven's (HL7) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) mandated X12 and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) electronic transactions. Support the efforts sponsored by the Department to better serve Medi-Cal beneficiaries such as Population Health Management, which will feed administrative data initially and mature further to include clinical data to support the delivery of care for all Medi-Cal delivery systems. Furthermore, this position will oversee efforts to support the Department's alignment with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule so that Medi-Cal beneficiaries may securely access their medical information and obtain provider details.</p> <p>Have questions and/or need assistance?
