<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Manages project funding and budgets, including expenditures for projects for compliance with budget through completion of costruction, develop and manage project schedules, and recommend strategies and plans to ensure schedules are met.</p> <p>Assists with administrative duties relating to managing internal and consultant projects including preparing monthly updates, cost estimates, P2S requests, correspondences and other projects documents.</p> <p>Serves as contact for public inquiries related to Traffic Safety projects. Prepares correspondence to inform or answer questions and requests from citizens, government officials, meetings, etc.</p> <p>Assists in organizing and conducting public meetings.</p> <p>Assists in coordination and facilitation of project scoping meetings, field reviews, and other project meetings with essential personnel and outside entities.</p> <p>Assists in developing Highway Safety lmporvement Safety project consultant contracts including project scopes, man-hour estimates, schedules and negotiations. Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and four (4) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.</p> <p>The physical demands for the essential functions involves sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. This position may require occasional travel. May require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, and kneeling. Walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards.
