<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Norwich University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in Criminal Justice and Criminology beginning July 2026, to teach seven courses per academic year, to include criminal justice and criminology intro and advanced classes. In addition to teaching courses in criminology and criminal justice, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and teach courses in fields including corrections, crime mapping, CJ administration, and courses in support of the accelerated CJ to master's program. Assistant professors have student advising responsibilities and serve on school, college, and/or university committees.</p> <p>The residential program of the School of School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Norwich University emphasizes the importance of evidence-based knowledge in understanding crime policy, programs and practice. It also strives to cultivate commitment to the principles of justice, ethics, public service and the development of leadership skills in its students. Criminal justice is the most popular major at Norwich.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in a relevant or related field (e.g., criminal justice or criminology) by the start date and documented success and experience teaching criminal justice or criminology at the college level.
