<p>Position Title</p> <p>Adjunct Instructor of Nursing</p> <p>Posting Date</p> <p>Spring 2022 and continuously</p> <p>Hours Per Week</p> <p>Not to exceed 83 hours per month</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Adjunct Instructor</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>Clinical or Lab adjunct for Maternal Newborn Nursing</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills And Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate student learning (hands-on and theory) in the clinical or simulation lab setting to help students grow in their knowledge and skills within maternal-newborn nursing. </li><li>Direct supervision of student in the clinical or lab setting. </li><li>Provide timely written feedback on student's performance and notify the Course Coordinator of any problems. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive student relationships. </li><li>Serve as a role model of professional nursing for students and colleagues. </li><li>Maintain professional, legal, and ethical standard for the practice of nursing. </li><li>Unencumbered, active RN licensure. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1-2 years work or teaching experience in maternal-newborn nursing including labor and delivery, postpartum, nursery. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Required: BSN will be considered based on credentials and experience. </li><li>Preferred: MSN </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Available for Fall and Spring semesters on site at the main campus in Lebanon, TN or local hospital affiliations.</p> <p>Application Requirements</p> <p>An electronic version of your cover letter, curriculum vitae, philosophy of teaching, unofficial graduate transcripts, and 5 references is required.</p>
