For more</p> </li></ul> <p>information, go to https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/dhr/student-loan-forgiveness-programs. https://dhr.colorado.gov/dhr-resources/student-loan-forgiveness-programs</p> <p>The Health Information Office develops, implements, and maintains the Department's Health Information Technology (Health IT) and related Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, while coordinating with the Governor's Office of Information Technology and other stakeholders on HIT and IT projects that impact the Department.? Major responsibilities of the Health Information Office include enhancing and maintaining the Department's health care claims payment system (Medicaid Management Information System or MMIS) and client eligibility system (Colorado Benefits Management System or CBMS) by developing requirements documentation, reviewing detailed system design approaches, proposing systems solutions to program staff and implementing systems solutions to support Department initiatives.? In addition to aligning the Department's infrastructure, this Office creates a foundation for emerging Health IT solutions that will be necessary to implement the Department's transformational vision for the future of Medicaid.? </p> <p>Within the Office, the Project Management teams provide coordination and management assistance for projects and act as a liaison between the Department, providers and vendors to streamline project approval processes and timeframes.? The Strategic Project Management Unit within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), is responsible coordinating projects on a variety of initiatives related to the Department's strategic projects initiatives and Health IT systems. This position manages processes using the PMBOK methodology and Department EPMO standards to ensure that program, systems, and/or operations are supported appropriately. </p> <p>This position will execute project management tasks, as assigned and directed by project manager and project sponsor, to define, plan, document, manage, and monitor the project scope of work, schedule, procurements, budget, requirements, operations, risks, issues, quality, decisions, communication needs, and resource requirements. Activities include, but are not limited to: </p> <ul> <li> <p>Identifying, managing, monitoring, and controlling scope, objectives, and requirements. </p> </li><li> <p>Prepare, manage, monitor and control budget, costs, schedule, and quality. </p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring, reviewing, and tracking, and archiving all appropriate legal paperwork, such as contracts, deliverables, invoices, payments as assigned. </p> </li><li> <p>Execute quality assurance and quality control activities on all project deliverables to identify opportunities for improvement, provide solutions and build efficiencies. </p> </li><li> <p>Onboard new project team members. </p> </li><li> <p>Conduct operational readiness monitoring activities, IV&V Requests, federal certification activities. </p> </li><li> <p>Sequence project management activities, resource deployment, equipment, and information. </p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and communicate project progress, project deliverables and due dates. </p> </li><li> <p>Identify, track and communicate project risks, issues, and opportunities, participating in the analysis and providing solutions where applicable. </p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain all relevant project sites and documentation in line with EPMO standards, and as project demands dictate, to ensure projects adhere to approved frameworks and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as project management plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures. </p> </li><li> <p>Execute project closeout activities, such as ensuring final invoicing and payments are received, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) are complete, all deliverables are received, lessons learned have been finalized, project information archived, and final sponsor approval has been recorded.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide administrative tasks such as scheduling and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, provide logistical support, facilitating meetings, preparing presentations, documenting, and following up on meeting minutes, actions, and decisions. </p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>There are two ways to qualify for this position:</p> <p>Option 1:</p> <p>Experience Only:</p> <p>Six (6) years of related professional experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, or Performance Analysis</p> <p>Option 2:</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>A bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a related field and two (2) years of professional experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, or Performance Analysis.</p> <p>Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
