<p>About the Opportunity</p> <p>We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in developing scalable, high-performance</p> <p>systems that power next-generation quantitative computer-aided diagnosis applications. In this</p> <p>role, you'll work closely with product and infrastructure teams to design, build, and maintain</p> <p>robust APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that drive our core platform.</p> <p>TTC: $188,000 - $205,000</p> <ul> <li>Total Target Compensation (TTC): Total Cash Compensation (including base pay, variable pay, commission, bonuses, etc.). We hire employees anywhere within the United States and account for geography when determining base salary. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>You'll contribute to all facets of the Cleerly platform focusing on scale, performance, and</p> <p>reliability. You'll work with our engineers, data science team, and a variety of inter-departmental</p> <p>stakeholders to improve our core product experiences. We're focused on enhancing our ability</p> <p>to execute complex algorithms at scale and bring enterprise workflows for healthcare to life. On</p> <p>any given day you could be doing one of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Creating a new µService to help our application scale and separate concerns </li><li>Implementing scalable solutions to complex business rules with care to drive precision heart care </li><li>Contributing to our CI/CD pipeline and capabilities </li><li>Debugging a production-level operational issue with third-party integrations </li><li>Architecting and writing new REST or GraphQL APIs for new features </li><li>Working with the data science team to performance tune image-based machine learning algorithms </li><li>Performing code reviews, ensuring great unit test coverage and driving bug triage </li><li>Participating in sprint planning and design meetings </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated foundation of agile, secure software development</p> <p>methodologies and be motivated and dedicated to the goal of providing a safe, high-quality</p> <p>product that is used to diagnose and treat patients in the real world.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience </li><li>3+ years of software development experience </li><li>Excellent knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or another OO or Functional programming </li></ul> <p>language</p> <ul> <li>Experience with server-side web & microservices frameworks such as Node.js and </li></ul> <p>Express</p> <ul> <li>Ability to apply and implement best practice design patterns for code maintainability </li><li>Demonstrable capability designing, implementing, and securing RESTful web services </li><li>Strong SQL developer skills including experience in Postgres, NoSQL, Redis or similar </li><li>Experience with AWS, GitHub and continuous integration pipelines </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English </li></ul> <p>Impress us more</p> <ul> <li>Experience in digital health, specifically with medical devices or medical imaging </li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST security requirements </li><li>Experience with gRPC and service-to-service communication protocols & best practices </li></ul>
