You'll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.</p> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in design and peer review of land development projects. </li><li>Experience in reviewing plans for water, sewer, and roadway design projects. </li><li>Function as liaison between City staff, applicants, and/or other technical groups within or outside the company. </li><li>Makes presentations before clients, city councils, boards, and commissions. </li><li>Familiar with local, State, and federal requirements. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering. </li><li>Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields. </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred. </li><li>Ability to establish and continuously deliver a positive interactive level of customer service to the general public, development community, and City government staff. </li><li>Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering reports and plans; organize and coordinate the preparation of comments; and communicate effectively and timely with clients and applicants. </li><li>Ability to function independently on project management and technical matters. </li><li>Ability to use electronic plan review software such as Bluebeam and Adobe PDF. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:??SAFEbuilt pays competitive wages and has a comprehensive benefit offering.
