<p>Under general direction, organizes, monitors, and leads facility maintenance operations; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to facility maintenance; provides technical assistance to Maintenance-Facilities management.</p> <ul> <li>Oversees building operations and maintenance, plans and operations, furniture and equipment inventories, utility operations, energy management, grounds maintenance and janitorial. </li><li>Manages HVAC equipment in all buildings </li><li>Schedules all facility activities with the production managers in all buildings to minimize conflict with production schedules. </li><li>Oversees major infrastructure repair and renovations projects by identifying and managing vendors/contractors, including bid process, contract compliance, and vendor/contractor performance. </li><li>Acts as the liaison for all remodeling, renovation and construction projects as it relates to product standards, design standards, scheduling shut-downs and system interruptions. </li><li>Assists with the development of and compliance with departmental budgets, including capital, operating and construction budgets. </li><li>Ensures continued compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations - OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations. </li><li>Works directly with vendors and Purchasing to request proposals for repairs, maintenance and capital improvements </li><li>Develops and oversees staffing, training, scheduling, and budgeting for facilities personnel. </li><li>Establishes a safe work environment for employees by performing safety audits and inspections, conducting safety-related training, and maintaining on-going communications with employees. </li><li>Requisitions tools, equipment, spare part and supplies required for operations. </li></ul> <p>Education: High school, General Education (GED), Associate Arts ( AA) degree preferred in electrical, mechanical and HVAC</p> <p>Experience: 5+years related experience; trade knowledge including NEMA standards for the electrical industry. Experience and coursework in blueprint reading, electrical, heating and plumbing systems, proven experience running conduit and electrical services</p> <p>Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office</p> <p>Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license, Electrician license preferred, and Forklift/Boom/Scissor License</p>
