<p>Job Title: QC Data Reviewer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The QC Chemistry Data Reviewer is responsible for overseeing 14-20 chemists and lab technicians. You will review data and assist in audits and investigations related to deviations in daily testing for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and check the work of chemists testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, components, and stability study samples. </li><li>Focus on testing new ANDA Oral Dose products, including oral rinses and antiseptics, using techniques such as titrations, pH measurement, specific gravity, and HPLC. </li><li>Assist with testing using various instruments like HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters. </li><li>Inspect supplies and ingredients used in pharmaceutical production. </li><li>Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lab protocols for accuracy. </li><li>Conduct some instrument validation as needed. </li><li>Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of experience with HPLC/GC and in the Pharma/cGMP field. </li><li>2+ years of audit trail experience, preferably with Openlab, Master Control, and/or LabX. </li><li>Knowledge of ALCOA+ principles. </li><li>Bachelor's degree with a major in chemistry. </li><li>Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>4 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry with hands-on GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry (titration) experience is ideal. </li><li>Good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation. </li><li>Familiarity with Agilent OpenLab software is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a QC Lab at a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company that specializes in oral rinse and antiseptic solutions, as well as other pharma products. The work mainly involves new ANDA products within the Oral Dose division. The company has recently expanded by acquiring a new building for a lab in Lake Villa. The work schedule is during the 1st shift, from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM.
