<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Woodstock Academy Job Posting</p> <p>August 18, 2025</p> <p>PARA-EDUCATOR</p> <p>1:1</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Working with students to develop their independent skills within the mainstream classrooms, resource rooms, non-academic times, and other duties, as assigned.</p> <p>The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Promote 21st century educational excellence through the vigorous support of the mission and goals of The Woodstock Academy; and </li><li>Facilitate individual, departmental, and school excellence through the support of high quality personnel, reinforcement of best instructional practices, encouragement of a culture of collaboration, and a focus on student learning. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or successful results of para-professional test is required; </li><li>Enjoy working with adolescents; </li><li>Prior background in working in educational settings and/or willingness to train in support of meeting specialized student needs; </li><li>Academic skills to work within core academic areas. Emphasis on Math or English; </li><li>Ability to work well, coordinate and participate with faculty, staff, students, and administration; </li><li>Certification to drive school vehicle, willingness to become certified.
