You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.</p> <p>Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Shift Manager (2nd shift) in our Oaks, PA Distribution Center. If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Responsible for the workload planning, production, and execution of a fast-paced operation with 10+ hourly associates and the leadership and development of salaried leaders in a building of over 100,000 Sq ft.</p> <p>The Shift Manager (2nd shift) will oversee associates whose hours are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (or until the work is completed). May also require various shifts initially to understand all departments/business needs.</p> <p>In addition to the responsibilities above, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and ensure all safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive and positive manner </li><li>Lead all aspects of shift operations to include selection, shipping, receiving, cross docking and trailer loading operations </li><li>Establish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely manner </li><li>Run DCs quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness, develop quality initiatives; implement standard methodologies. </li><li>Workload planning is balanced to reach budget and production goals </li><li>Lead all aspects of inventory control in our warehouse and overall quality program to meet daily levels of service and perfect order metrics </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred </li><li>3+ years' management experience in supply chain distribution </li><li>WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred </li><li>Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations </li><li>Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile) </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required </li></ul> <p>At Ferguson, we care for each other.
