<p>Description</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Jaeckle Distributors is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Outbound Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Madison, WI. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing outbound shipments, coordinating with internal teams and freight partners, and ensuring timely, cost-effective deliveries for our customers.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate customer-facing shipments using both company and third-party logistics resources </li><li>Serve as the key contact for customer service teams on freight-related matters </li><li>Create and optimize daily truck routes using internal software </li><li>Provide tracking updates, freight quotes, and delivery information to internal teams and customers </li><li>Manage and submit shipping documentation such as bills of lading (BOLs) and EDI files </li><li>Book full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments using best practices </li><li>Monitor and assist with warehouse and branch stock transfers </li><li>Track and report delivery issues and trends; file and follow up on freight claims </li></ul> <p>Support the warehouse team with logistics-related tasks as needed</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required, higher eduction in supply chain is a plus </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Military experience a plus </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills </li><li>Comfortable using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems </li><li>Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset </li><li>Experience with routing, EDI, and freight booking preferred </li></ul> <p>Why Work with Us?</p> <ul> <li>Hourly wage $21.65 - $26.50 Depending on experience </li><li>Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, Holidays, FSA, and 401k </li><li>Opportunity to work with a supportive team in a well-established company </li><li>Room for growth within logistics and supply chain functions </li><li>Company committed to core values, teamwork, and operational excellence </li></ul> <p>About Jaeckle Distributors</p> <p>With over 60 years in the industry, Jaeckle Distributors is a trusted provider of high-quality flooring and surfacing products.
