<p>Posting Number: 2022923F Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - Ethics Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/9-months Department: 171-Ethics Position Summary:</p> <p>Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in the Ethics Program for undergraduate courses only. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of a core curriculum course, ETH 2050. This interdisciplinary course is the last of five foundational core courses that most Villanova undergraduates take. The Good Life: Ethics and Contemporary Moral Problems provides the students an opportunity to explore the rich philosophical and theological resources available for the ongoing exploration of what constitutes a good life.</p> <p>Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Teach 1-3 sections of ETH 2050, hold regular weekly office hours.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Advanced degree in philosophy or theology, AOS Ethics</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous teaching experience preferred, Ph.D. in hand preferred</p> <p>Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Special Message to Applicants:</p> <p>The Ethics Program will accept applications through April 2022.
