<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Specimen Processor I PRN to join our laboratory team. The Specimen Processor is responsible for receiving, labeling, and preparing patient samples for testing. This role is critical in ensuring accurate processing, maintaining specimen integrity, and supporting laboratory operations in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and log patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) into the laboratory system. </li><li>Accurately label and prepare samples for testing according to lab protocols. </li><li>Ensure specimens meet quality standards and report discrepancies or issues. </li><li>Maintain proper storage and handling of specimens to prevent contamination or degradation. </li><li>Work closely with laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and medical staff to ensure efficient workflow. </li><li>Follow all safety and infection control procedures while handling biohazardous materials. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We pride ourselves on retaining our top talent by offering work environments that support professional development and personal success. This position may also perform data entry, computer registration, & packing and shipping samples.
