As a CADD Technician within our design team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you'll play an active role in creating solutions on our municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. In this role, the combination of your technical skills, attention to detail, and the guidance of an experienced engineering team will lead you to develop sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents to support our projects. You'll positively impact the world around you by helping us solve real-life challenges.</p> <p>Our hybrid work policy offers you the opportunity to work remotely and from the Milwaukee Jacobs office (two days per week minimum requirement).</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>An associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in mechanical and computer drafting, or similar program </li><li>Experience with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) platforms common in the infrastructure design and construction industry, such as AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, and/or Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer </li><li>Experience with water and wastewater systems design drawings </li><li>Familiarity with CAD standards </li><li>Experience with using Microsoft Office programs </li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented work approach, and a focus on delivering work products that are clear, accurate, and of high quality </li><li>Ability to work and thrive in a team environment and individually </li><li>Deadline-oriented mindset </li><li>Experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation and controls drafting </li><li>Hands-on mechanical skills through educational, professional, and/or personal experience, that can be leveraged into the design and construction for municipal projects </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>65,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>100,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
