Our expertise in material sciences, coupled with Response Technologies' additive manufacturing and innovative processes, continues to strengthen our position as industry leaders.</p> <p>Facilities Intern</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled Facilities Intern to ensure the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our building infrastructure. The Facilities Intern will assist the facilities team in managing maintenance activities, construction projects, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.</p> <p>What you'll be doing as a Facilities Intern</p> <ul> <li>Assist in developing standard processes and updating policies/procedures </li><li>Work with internal maintenance team and/or external contractors to execute project deliverables </li><li>Apply basic engineering principles and practices in support of daily operation and maintenance activities for site utility systems </li><li>Assist in the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. </li></ul> <p>Skills You Bring To this Role</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the building process and construction principles. </li><li>Strategic thinking, dealing with ambiguity, cross-functional agility and decision-making skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem solving, detail oriented, persistence and ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity and adapt to changing requirements </li><li>Comfortable working and communicating at all levels of the organization, including various levels of leadership </li></ul> <p>What you need to be successful</p> <ul> <li>Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent is required. </li><li>Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship. </li><li>Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 2- August 8, 2025. </li><li>3.0 GPA preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift </li><li>Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools </li><li>Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks </li><li>Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues </li></ul> <p>What we offer you in return</p> <p>Relaxed Dress Code ("Dress For Your Day" policy)</p> <ul> <li>Every other Friday or every Friday off, depending on your work location and team </li><li>$2,500 Intern Stipend </li><li>Continuous training and advancement opportunities </li><li>Mentorships and networking opportunities across the business and with leadership </li></ul> <p>It's time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
