<p>POSITION PURPOSE</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead equipment and process initiatives while managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers. This role is pivotal in driving capital projects, improving equipment reliability, and implementing lean manufacturing practices, all while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor Manufacturing Engineers I & II </li><li>Manage capital projects from concept to implementation </li><li>Troubleshoot and improve equipment (PLCs, HMIs, robotics) </li><li>Drive cost reduction, productivity, and ergonomic improvements </li><li>Support TPM, Kaizen, and machine ownership programs </li><li>Collaborate on SOP development and root cause analysis </li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field </li><li>10+ years in manufacturing or mechanical engineering </li><li>5+ years managing engineering teams </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD/CAD software </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and professionally across teams and with external partners. </li><li>OSHA 30 certification preferred </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to travel when required </li><li>Willingness to work some overtime hours or weekends as necessary to complete tasks or to communicate with our parent company Yamaha in Japan </li><li>All candidates will be subject to full background screening prior to employment. </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT US</p> <ul> <li>Learning & Development: Tuition assistance is available along with an internal training budget.
