<p>Information Specialist - Information Systems</p> <p>Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for the entry-level position of Information Specialist, within the Information Systems Department. In this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team to analyze, design, develop, and implement advanced information system modules that drive our County's digital transformation. You'll work with both modern and legacy tools, including CA 2E (formerly Synon), HTML, SQL, and PowerShell, as well as Microsoft Access, Power Platforms, and Visual Basic, to modify and enhance our IT systems, troubleshoot and debug both custom and vendor software packages, and ensure smooth operations throughout the organization</p> <p>We're seeking someone with an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field-though equivalent experience is also welcome. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in Relational Databases and Systems Analysis & Design. Any experience with the Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft IIS is considered a plus but not required. On the job training of legacy tools in use will be provided.
