Remediation engineering expertise will be applied to the investigation/characterization, remedial design, remedy implementation/construction, operations and maintenance and/or long-term monitoring phases of the CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state regulatory program processes.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Engineering leadership to environmental remediation projects. </li><li>Preparation of planning documents, designs, reports and as-builts. </li><li>Remedial alternative evaluation and design of various in-situ and ex-situ treatment approaches. </li><li>Prepare design calculations, specifications, and cost estimates. </li><li>Preparation of subcontractor scopes of work and specifications. </li><li>Solicitation, evaluation, and procurement of subcontractors for investigation or remediation projects. </li><li>Management of in-house field teams conducting remediation activities. </li><li>May serve as task or project manager for projects with an engineering focus </li><li>Ability to support multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while adhering to cost and schedule. </li><li>Support and/or lead business development and proposal efforts. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (a master's degree is preferred) </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain within 1 year </li><li>Minimum of 8 years of environmental remediation experience providing engineering expertise to projects under CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state regulatory programs </li><li>Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and keep organized to ensure timely and accurate work </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to work in a team setting and individually </li><li>Strong self-motivation and initiative </li><li>Expertise and/or competency with the following environmental remediation practice areas: </li><li>Treatment technologies for a variety of contaminants to include in-situ aerobic and anaerobic enhanced bioremediation, in-situ chemical oxidation, ex-situ treatment systems (e.g., pump and treat, air sparge, SVE, etc.) and remedial excavations </li><li>Identification, selection and design of remedial technologies and approaches </li><li>Remedial alternative cost estimate development </li><li>Remedy implementation oversight </li><li>Operations and maintenance and performance monitoring evaluation, and optimization </li><li>Investigation and/or remediation of PFAS impacted sites </li><li>Various multi-media investigative techniques to include high resolution site characterization (HRSC) </li><li>Screening levels and the risk assessment process </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans</p>
