They are seeking a Controller to join their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$150k - $185k plus bonus</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Controller produces timely and accurate financial data to support business decisions and consolidation. This role is responsible for the management and execution of all day-to-day financial operations of the company.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Controller:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and month-end close processes. </li><li>Deliver financial statements. </li><li>Support the budgeting and forecasting process. </li><li>Maintain and enforce a robust internal control environment. </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including sales tax and multi-state requirements. </li><li>Manage external audit activities and prepare year-end audit documentation. </li><li>Utilization of the ERP system to improve financial reporting and visibility. </li><li>Identify financial trends, variances, and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities. </li><li>Manage multi-currency and intercompany accounting and reporting. </li><li>Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Controller:</p> <ul> <li>5 - 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. </li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. </li><li>Experience with ERP systems. </li><li>Strong background in cost accounting and inventory valuation. </li><li>Familiarity with tax and finance tools. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Controller:</p> <ul> <li>IFRS exposure. </li><li>Public accounting or audit background at leading firms. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing, equipment distribution, or industrial products sector. </li><li>CPA preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent group benefits including Healthcare, Paid Time Off, 401k and much more. </li></ul>
