<p>William James College, located in Newton, MA, just 15 minutes from Boston, is excited to invite applications for a Core faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate core faculty position in our well-established practitioner-scholar School Psychology MA/CAGS program, now entering its twentieth year. This presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative faculty team committed to excellence in teaching, clinical practice, service to the community, and applied research.</p> <p>As a core faculty member, you will play an integral role in:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching graduate-level courses aligned with the domains of school psychology practice </li><li>Advising students throughout their academic journey </li><li>Providing college-based supervision to practicum students and interns at field placement sites </li><li>Serving on dissertation committees across the college in your area of expertise </li><li>Contributing to scholarly productivity, professional presentation, scholarly writing, and applied research. </li></ul> <p>We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for advancing behavioral health equity in underserved communities and tackling disparities in clinical care. William James College supports a framework of inclusive excellence, which recognizes that institutional excellence stems from fully embracing diversity in all aspects of its activities.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field and have teaching experience. Applicants should preferably be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts as a School Psychologist and maintain some involvement in clinical practice or consultation or demonstrate a strong history of having done so. A broad record of scholarly work-such as community engagement, clinical practice, educational leadership, innovation, investigation, or research-is preferred. Successful applicants will also demonstrate a commitment to promoting multicultural competence in educational and work environments and must be willing to contribute to the College's strategic plan for inclusion. Candidates must be available to teach in-person classes and participate in on-campus activities.
