<ul> <li>Do you pride yourself on being the most reliable person on the team - someone who others can always count on? </li><li>Do you enjoy detail oriented work such as making sure each transaction and file you create in ADP is error-free? </li></ul> <p>Then this may be the job for you!</p> <p>We need a hard-working, get-the-work-done, maintain-a-positive-attitude person for our small 3-person HR Team serving ~600 employees. The right candidate has extensive experience working in Workforce Now: entering new hires, terminations, job and pay changes, running reports, etc.</p> <p>Overall, this position supports the HR department in a wide range of administrative and operational tasks, helping ensure smooth and efficient business operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete the HR portion of biweekly payroll in ADP</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately add new hires</p> </li><li> <p>Enter terminations</p> </li><li> <p>Enter job changes (position, allocations, pay changes)</p> </li><li> <p>Run reports</p> </li><li> <p>Add all the supporting documentation into the file for Payroll to process</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with day-to-day HR operations and support HR projects and initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Opens, responds to or distributes the HR mail</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for the HR Helpdesk. Responds to all requests and questions, or assigns them appropriately. Monitors to ensure no cases linger.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Discount Travel Program vouchers.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and onboarding logistics.</p> </li><li> <p>Orders background checks for new hires; review results with VP HR for next steps.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes entire HR new hire process.</p> </li><li> <p>Adds new hires to Rise360 and assigns training.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records electronic and physical files.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps accurate physical employee files & I-9 files</p> </li><li> <p>Completes HR termination process</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with audits and required reporting (NDT, 401k, ACA, EEO1, OSHA 300).</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments and changes.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with engagement programs</p> </li><li> <p>Orders monthly pastry or bagels & fruit</p> </li><li> <p>Gives new moms bib & baby book on return from maternity</p> </li><li> <p>Mails out birthday cards</p> </li><li> <p>Help prepare HR reports and metrics on a regular basis.</p> </li><li> <p>Send out surveys: new hire, exit, training surveys, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds to verification of employment requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with performance review process: tracking completion and providing updates; filing reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and/or assist with HR-related events such as training sessions, employee recognition, employee engagement, and wellness programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Training</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule training</p> </li><li> <p>Send surveys</p> </li><li> <p>Print material for classes</p> </li><li> <p>Add completed training to Reach 360</p> </li><li> <p>Manage employees in Reach 360 - adding new hires, removing terminations, assigning training</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other tasks and projects as needed or as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Prefer Bachelor degree in Human Resources. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus. </li><li>Experience: 1-2 years of HR administrative experience preferred. </li><li>Skills: </li><li>Strong ADP Workforce Now skills. MUST have significant working experience in ADP: hiring, terminating, making changes, running reports. </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills. </li><li>Good problem solving ability. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication </li><li>High attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Excellent judgement on when to offer advice or guidance, and when to ask for assistance. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively </li><li>A willingness and ability to learn. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>100% in-office role with standard business hours 8:30- 5 with 1/2 hour lunch. </li><li>Occasional flexibility required for recruitment events, new hire onboarding, or employee functions. </li></ul>
