<p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Manage Edgenuity enrollments for online courses, ensuring accurate and timely student registration. </li><li>Assign final grades for online classes in Skyward, adhering to established grading policies and procedures. </li><li>Individualize course setups to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring accessibility and engagement. </li><li>Lead hybrid learning courses as needed </li><li>Oversee students in the computer lab, providing support and guidance as needed. </li><li>Monitor and manage distance learning students, tracking attendance and progress. </li><li>Supplement student learning by teaching note-taking, organization, and pacing skills to enhance online learning success. </li><li>Provide assistance and training to other teachers regarding Edgenuity and online learning best practices. </li><li>Ensure the integrity and legitimacy of student learning in the online environment. </li><li>Collaborate with in person learning teachers through co-teaching and substitution as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Valid Illinois teaching license. Endorsements 6-12th grade. </li><li>Experience using Skyward, Edgenuity, Google Education, and GoGuardian. </li><li>Strong understanding of online learning platforms and best practices. </li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and students. </li><li>Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. </li><li>Secondary teaching experience. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Comparable with local area and commensurate with experience.
