<p>Department</p> <p>Ambulatory Administration</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the department or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require a Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field. </li><li>Require a minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in ambulatory or medical setting. A Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration can substitute for the required experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules and regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork and site/cost-center based management. </li><li>Prefer the ability to establish and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. </li><li>Prefer the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution and to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise. </li></ul> <p>Mandatory Education</p> <p>Preferred Education</p> <p>Required License and Certs</p> <p>Preferred License and Certs</p>
