<p>Community Outreach-Diversity Coordinator</p> <p>SPHS-Com Outrch-Divsty</p> <p>The Community Outreach-Diversity Coordinator will:</p> <ul> <li>Develop Diversity Initiatives: Create and implement programs to </li></ul> <p>enhance diversity and inclusion within the organization with input from</p> <p>Resource Groups. Manage meetings with these resource groups and</p> <p>recruit members.</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for Community Outreach: Establishing connections with diverse communities to build relationships and foster collaboration. </li><li>Be responsible for Training and Education: Research and manage diversity and inclusion </li></ul> <p>training, both online and in person, for staff to promote awareness and</p> <p>understanding.</p> <ul> <li>Implement monthly educational presentations in each of the six adult </li></ul> <p>communities in Monroe and address and resolve conflicts or issues</p> <p>regarding Speaker's Bureau and the Monroe Adult Communities.</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for Cultural Competence: Promote cultural competence among employees during New Hire Orientation for onboarding and maintain programs and </li></ul> <p>initiatives throughout the organization.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate health/outreach events in the wider community; Plan and </li></ul> <p>participate in Outreach events and projects (some events are held</p> <p>evenings/weekends)</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for Monitoring Diversity Metrics: Track and analyze diversity metrics to assess the effectiveness of initiatives. </li><li>Maintain Trackstar educational software for diversity trainings. </li><li>Be responsible for Advocacy and Representation: Advocate for underrepresented groups and ensure their fair representation within the organization. </li><li>Be responsible for Communication and Reporting: Regularly communicate diversity and </li></ul> <p>outreach initiatives, progress, and goals to internal and external</p> <p>stakeholders, and prepare weekly reports for Executive Director.</p> <ul> <li>Manage the Executive Director's schedule/meeting organization, and </li></ul> <p>perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, or combination of education and equivalent work experience. </li><li>Excellent computer and database management skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments and outside agencies. </li><li>Strong organization skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of the communities we serve; ability to organize events, empathize with clients and </li></ul> <p>their families.</p> <p>Salary Range: 54,018.00 - 86,445.00 USD</p> <p>We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.
