<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Patient Transport & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Safely and courteously transport patients between nursing units, diagnostic areas, and other departments </li><li>Operate designated patient transport elevators to ensure efficiency and comfort </li><li>Treat every patient and guest with dignity, empathy, and respect </li></ul> <p>Communication & Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Communicate all stages of patient transport clearly with the dispatcher </li><li>Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, ancillary departments, and medical center personnel </li><li>Proactively report delays, barriers, or service issues and escalate patient-experience concerns when needed </li></ul> <p>Safety First</p> <ul> <li>Prioritize patient, visitor, and coworker safety at all times </li><li>Use transport equipment safely and correctly </li><li>Immediately report unsafe equipment or practices to leadership </li></ul> <p>Accountability & Teamwork</p> <ul> <li>Deliver timely, reliable patient transport while meeting productivity expectations </li><li>Attend required trainings, in-services, and staff meetings </li><li>Follow all departmental and hospital policies and procedures </li><li>Take initiative to support continuous improvement across departments </li></ul> <p>Privacy & Professionalism</p> <ul> <li>Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines </li><li>Protect patient and guest privacy during all interactions and transports </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Preferred Education: GED or High School Diploma </li><li>A patient-focused mindset with strong communication skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment </li><li>Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and service excellence </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Salary Range: $16.94 - $19.28 per hour</p> <p>Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.</p> <p>Trinity Health Benefits Summary</p> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
