<p>Position: Machine Operator</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned machinery within the plant. This role requires adherence to production schedules, attention to quality standards, and the ability to perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate assigned machines safely and according to established procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize tasks based on production planning and supervisory input.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow and process work instructions accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform precise measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, rulers, and scales.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct and document process data entry, ensuring traceability and accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform light maintenance and use hand tools to support operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret routings, process sheets, and shop orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and communicate quality issues during production.</p> </li><li> <p>Support process improvements in collaboration with engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Lift up to 50 lbs regularly or use hoists for heavier materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in high-heat environments (up to 105°F) and stand for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate additional machines as assigned and work overtime as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous manufacturing experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Good verbal and written communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.</p> </li><li> <p>Fork truck license required (Warwick Plant-specific).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to visually inspect for small defects.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to cross-train and support other functions as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Frequently lift or drag up to 50 lbs during shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Maneuver hoists for loads up to 200 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Step up/down frequently and work in hot environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Stand for prolonged periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Position requires a High School education/GED with some experience in a manufacturing environment.</p> </li></ul>
