<p>Math Teacher: Middle and High School</p> <p>The candidate must hold certification in both Middle and High School Mathematics. The selected candidate will teach one or more mathematics subjects to students in a public secondary school serving grades 6-12 and will be responsible for the following:</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Instruct students using a variety of teaching methods, including lecture, demonstration, and the integration of audiovisual aids and other instructional materials to enhance learning.</p> <p>Develop course objectives and outlines in accordance with curriculum guidelines and state and school requirements.</p> <p>Assign lessons, review and provide feedback on homework, and assess student understanding through a variety of methods.</p> <p>Administer tests and other assessments to evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to parents/guardians.</p> <p>Maintain accurate attendance records and uphold classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.</p> <p>Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.</p> <p>Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and educational conferences.</p> <p>Potentially sponsor or advise student activities or organizations, assist students with course selection, and provide academic or social-emotional counseling as needed.</p> <p>Perform other related duties as assigned.</p>
