If you're ready for the right place to belong and grow your career, you can find it here.\nBenefits that set us apart.\n\nComprehensive medical?including Fertility, Adoption benefits, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nRemote ½ day Fridays\nOnsite Health & Wellness Center\nEmployer 401K contribution in the top 1% of the nation\nRelocation Assistance\nTuition Assistance\nAccess to Employee Store\n\nWhat You Do.\nStrategic Sourcing & Category Management\n\nOwn and execute strategies for assigned categories, aligned with business objectives and long-term operational plans.\nLead sourcing initiatives across the full lifecycle, including opportunity identification, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, award, and implementation.\nManage and optimize assigned spend, delivering measurable cost savings, value creation, and risk reduction.\nPerform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), should-cost, and cost-to-build analyses to support fact-based sourcing decisions.\nMaintain a multi-year pipeline of savings initiatives aligned with enterprise productivity targets.\n\nContracting & Commercial Management\n\nLead and support negotiation of commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and other agreements.\nPartner closely with Legal to ensure contract is aligned with company standards, risk tolerance, and compliance requirements.\nDrive consistency in contractual terms, pricing structures, service levels, and risk allocation.\nManage contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, amendments, performance obligations, and issue resolution.\nProvide guidance to stakeholders on contractual implications, commercial terms, and supplier commitments.\n\nSupplier Management & Market Intelligence\n\nIdentify, qualify, and develop suppliers capable of supporting Sargento's requirements.\nLead supplier selection, onboarding, performance management, and scorecard processes.\nConduct supplier business reviews focused on cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk.\nMonitor market trends, cost drivers, capacity constraints, and emerging technologies relevant to assigned categories.\n\nCross-Functional Partnership\n\nServe as a trusted sourcing partner to stakeholders and Project teams.\nCollaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and savings validation.\nEnsure sourcing engagement follows defined governance, sourcing policies, and approval processes.\nCollaborate with Business Partners to deliver year-over-year productivity and operating efficiencies.\nOngoing pursuit of operational efficiencies with suppliers to drive additional value to the organization.\n\nLeadership / People Development\n\nMay manage or mentor sourcing team members or category resources, depending on scope.\nDrive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, tools, and supplier engagement models.\nSupport change management initiatives related to sourcing, contracting, and supplier processes.\n\nMust be able to travel up to 15% of time.\nYour Education and Experience.\n\nBachelor's Degree required.\nAt least five to seven years of Sourcing experience required. At least one year of supervisory responsibilities is preferred.\nStrong computer skills are necessary, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. SAP skills are helpful but not required.\nCPM, APP, CPSM or equivalent certificates preferred. Driver's License required.\nDue to extensive communication with suppliers and internal customers, good interpersonal, problem solving, and reasoning skills are required.
