<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Administration Center - Fairhaven, MA</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Education Level: High School</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Job Category: Banking</p> <p>Description</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Perform a variety of functions for new and current loans, including answering incoming member and team inquiries, processing loan payoff requests, completing loan research and effectively communicating with customers and clients. Cross train on all related loan operation functions to support the department and clients during periods of high volume.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Listed below are some of the essential functions to carry out this job.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Respond and support members and team members regarding all loans. Review daily reports and resolve any exceptions.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare payoff quotes and complete processing of payoff transactions on the core processing system.</p> </li><li> <p>Process loan payments for consumer and mortgage loans and ensure all electronic payments are posted correctly in the core processing system.</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile all loan general ledger accounts maintained by the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Review daily lockbox vendor exception files and makes adjustments as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Submit and process insurance claims for auxiliary products such as life and disability claims.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross-train on all related loan operations responsibilities, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Handling mortgage escrow, insurance and tax payments</p> </li><li> <p>Handle all administration functions associated with vehicle titles up to and including; releasing titles, investigating/resolving issues, filing appropriate documents with the state vehicle registry and scanning titles. Ensure appropriate turnaround time for releasing titles and maintain detailed records of calls and correspondence</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Assurance - Perform Quality Assurance on all servicing products to include but not limited to Mortgage and Consumer.</p> </li><li> <p>Mortgage Servicing support - including boarding, escrow account set up, subordinations, loan modifications, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage help desk tickets, processing payments, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Handling various loan operation tasks as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure confidentiality within all areas of responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Positively promote the company, its services and products in various capacities as may be required including: meetings, conferences, community events, fund raising, public relations or other events as they may occur.</p> </li><li> <p>Adherence with company policies that could be amended from time to time.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all procedures pertaining to the company policies of BSA, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC. Attend trainings when available and to keep abreast of all information regarding changes and updates. Report to Management any acts of disregard to these policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Successfully complete all company required and job specific training.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>One to three years banking industry experience. </li><li>Loan servicing experience a plus. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Must be organized and detail oriented. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems. </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those the team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.</p> <p>Physical Demands Efforts</p> <p>This function requires moderate standing, walking and sitting. Will be sitting while performing computer data entry functions. Position does not involve climbing or crawling but may on occasion kneel/squat. Requires lifting and moderate carrying of items up to 25 pounds such as a banker's box. Ability to operate normal office equipment such as, telephone, copy machine, fax, scanner, and computer.</p> <p>Mental & Visual Demands</p> <p>Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision and ability to adjust focus</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position typically works in an office environment.
