<p>Ohio Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Field Service District 2</p> <p>Report in Location: 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223</p> <p>Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.</p> <ul> <li>This position will require daily travel to location within their assigned area utilizing a State vehicle* </li></ul> <p>Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety</p> <ul> <li>Multiple pay increases over the first years of service! </li><li>Free Parking! </li><li>Free Gym Access & Walking Path! </li><li>Daycare On-site! </li><li>Cafeteria On-site! </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Deputy Registrar Field Representative</p> <ul> <li>Conduct onsite visitation & complete periodic & special assignments necessary to over-see, monitor & evaluate & provide training, technical assistance & direction to contractual personnel in assigned deputy registrar agencies, in assigned territory: </li><li>In assigned territory, oversee, monitor & evaluate assigned deputy registrar agencies by conducting onsite visitations; </li><li>Check revenue & document disposition by reviewing end of day reports; </li><li>Complete early &/or late visits to ensure agency open &/or close procedures are ob-served; </li><li>Verify & remove items for return to Bureau of Motor Vehicles' warehouse to keep deputy registrar agency free of salvage plates, obsolete items, & returned items for credit. </li></ul> <p>Click here to see the full position description</p> <p>Option 1</p> <p>2 yrs. exp. in position involved in reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness &/or compliance with reporting guidelines, laws & rules;</p> <p>AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of computer hardware, software & peripheral equipment;</p> <p>AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing or word processing; valid driver's license.</p> <p>Option 2</p> <ul> <li>Or 2 yrs. exp. as office manager or assistant office manager in deputy registrar agency in Ohio; </li></ul> <p>AND valid driver's license.</p> <p>Option 3</p> <ul> <li>Or 2 yrs. exp. working in Ohio Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, in position dealing with issuance of operator licenses & vehicle registration; </li></ul> <p>AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of computer hardware, software & peripheral equipment;</p> <p>AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing or word processing; valid driver's license.</p> <ul> <li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. </li></ul> <p>Helpful Tips for Applying:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Be detailed when describing your current/previous work duties.
