Start date: August 26, 2025.</p> <p>Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day; 181-day school year. Daily schedule is flexible but likely to be 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.</p> <p>Salary & Benefits: In accordance with the Joel Barlow Support Staff collective bargaining unit agreement</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years' college OR evidence of having passed the CT ParaPro Examination ? Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communications skills ? Ability to interact with students and staff in courteous and helpful manner and to establish and maintain effective relationships </li><li>Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team, following direction set by others ? Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality </li><li>Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and workload prioritization skills are required ? Must be flexible, creative, have a good sense of humor, work well under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills </li><li>Familiarity/willingness to learn computer word processing and Google Suite for Education </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist students with use of online services and location of books/periodicals ? Take student attendance each classroom period </li><li>Use the Destiny Library Management program for circulation of library materials ? Charge and discharge library materials, collect fines </li><li>Redirect students as appropriate </li><li>Maintain and organize books, LLC files and storage </li><li>Assist in general care of LLC printers, copiers and computers </li><li>Assist in budget/purchasing processes </li><li>Process maintenance and technology requests </li><li>Perform daily light cleaning </li><li>Other tasks as assigned by the Head of School or Director of Learning and Information Technology </li></ul> <p>Applications will only be accepted online at the district Web site: www.er9.org A direct link to the application page is: www.applitrack.com/er9/onlineapp</p> <p>Applicants Must Submit:</p> <ul> <li>Formal letter of application addressed to Mario Almeida, Ed.D., Head of School ?
