<p>As a Structured Products Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow and contribute to our clients' business needs by providing strategic, financial, and operational support to deliver effective and rapid results-all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. Grant Thornton's Structured Products Practice is a specialized team that provides Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) reports to a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, investment banks, and asset managers.</p> <p>Your day-to-day may include:</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with Grant Thornton associates, managers and partners on all aspects of the AUP report creation and delivery process and coordinate this work with all internal and external parties involved </li><li>Become proficient in one or more of our AUP product lines: tape to file, circle ups, cashflow modeling, and payment date reporting </li><li>Create and manage project data rooms </li><li>Help to train and coach new and junior team members </li><li>Identify process gaps and propose improvements </li><li>Document procedures and workflows to ensure efficient and accurate deliverables </li><li>Communicate externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish firm objectives </li><li>Contribute to developing new client proposals and understand/manage firm risk </li><li>Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization) </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>You have the following technical skills and qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or related field degree required, Master's degree a plus </li><li>Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice, financial services organization or function servicing securitized and structured products valuations, Buy-side or Sell-side experience is a plus </li><li>A related professional license/certification </li><li>Prior relevant consulting experience preferred </li><li>Cashflow/waterfall modeling experience preferred </li><li>Strong technical background including an in depth understanding of one or more of the following assets classes: RMBS, ABS, CLO, and similar securitized and structured products </li><li>Well-versed in interpreting legal documents, including offering memoranda, franchise agreements, loan agreements, funding memoranda, etc. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word) </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and multitask on simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice </li><li>Can travel as needed </li></ul>
